Import from other outliners
Copy your notes in the other app, then paste them into a bullet in TreeWrite. Each line becomes a bullet, and indented lines become its children. These steps are also in TreeWrite, under Import from another outliner… in the file menu.
| From | What to copy |
|---|---|
| Workflowy | In the menu of a bullet, choose Export, then Markdown. To bring everything, export your whole account |
| Dynalist | In the menu of a document or item, choose Export, then OPML. Bring one document at a time |
| Logseq | Right-click the title of a page, choose Export page, then Text, with dashes and no option ticked. For some blocks only, select them, right-click and choose Copy as. Bring one page at a time |
| Anything else | From Obsidian, Notion, a .md or a .txt file: select everything and copy it |
